Woman succumbs to injuries after bike collision

Bhopal: Tragedy struck Kolar area when a woman, who was critically injured in a motorcycle accident, passed away on Wednesday morning at Hamidia Hospital. Sonu Balmik, 39, was traveling with her husband, Kailash Balmik, on a Honda Shine bike when it collided with a tractor near Mother Teresa School on Monday. Kailash succumbed to his injuries at the hospital that evening, while Sonu fought for her life for two more days before succumbing on Wednesday.

The couple, residents of Kajlikheda, worked as cleaners at a hospital in Kolar. They left for work on Monday morning, but their lives were tragically cut short due to the accident. The couple leaves behind two children—a boy and a girl. After post-mortem, the bodies have been handed over to their grieving family. Police are investigating the cause of the collision.

Woman dies after Mini Truck hits Auto Rikshaw

In a separate incident, 25-year-old Razia Khan tragically lost her life after a mini truck collided with the auto she was traveling in. The accident occurred on Tuesday night near the Chola Mandir cement warehouse when the family was en route to a wedding at Eintkhedi. Razia, sitting on the side of the auto, suffered severe injuries and was rushed to a nearby private hospital, where she later died. Police have seized the truck and registered a case against the driver.
