Wipro to acquire DTS business unit of HARMAN to deliver next-gen engineering solutions

New Delhi, Aug 30 (UNI) Wipro has announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire the Digital Transformation Solutions (DTS) business unit of HARMAN.

Harman International Industries Inc. commonly known as HARMAN is a US-based audio electronics company and has been operating as independent subsidiary of Samsung Electronics since 2017.

The agreement is aimed to achieve the next-gen engineering research & development (ER&D) mission of Wipro.

Digital Transformation Solutions (DTS) unit sets itself apart due to advanced methodologies, including integration of deep engineering with AI-native platforms, domain expertise, proprietary accelerators and autonomous agent frameworks.

Pointing towards the future prospects of this partnership Carolin Reichert, chief strategy officer at HARMAN said, “We look forward to collaborating with DTS and Wipro to further the development of AI-first technologies and solutions across HARMAN’s product ecosystem.”
