From infrastructure commissioning to track renewal, double and triple tracking, scrap sales, and the integration of technology for enhanced safety, PAMR has shown remarkable growth.
Under the leadership of the Railway Minister, PAMR was recognized for its excellent performance across the Indian Railway network, winning the prestigious Accounting and Finance Management Shield and the Personnel Management Shield. These were presented to General Manager Shobhna Bandopadhyay.
In a significant boost for the region, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 18 major projects worth Rs 4,880 crores. Additionally, to promote local products, PAMR has introduced “One Station, One Product” stalls. As part of its commitment to affordable healthcare, the railways are also operating Prime Minister’s Bharatiya Janaushadhi Kendras at stations, providing low-cost and generic medicines.
These initiatives reflect PAMR’s focus on innovation, safety, and enhancing services for passengers and the local economy.
