Bhopal: Voters from the Banganga area on Wednesday submitted a formal complaint to the TT Nagar Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Archana Sharma, alleging misuse of Form 7 to raise objections and attempt deletion of names from the electoral roll. The complaint was lodged under the leadership of former minister P C Sharma.
According to the complainants, an individual allegedly filed objections through Form 7 seeking deletion of certain voters’ names without their knowledge or consent. One of the affected voters appeared in person before the SDM and stated that no such objection had been filed by him, claiming that a false complaint had been submitted in his name. The delegation urged the administration to conduct a prompt inquiry and take strict action against those responsible.
District Congress Committee president Praveen Saxena, former councillor Hariram Prajapati, and party leaders Rakesh Mishra, Naseem Khan, Dilip Maske, Poonam Rai, Pramod Somkumar, Umesh Batham, Siraj Khan, Shahid, Sheikh Mateen, Prem Raikwar, Mahendra Vishwakarma, Lalti Prajapati and Shoaib Khan were present.
