  • Poetry Recitation Competition at AIIMS Bhopal

Bhopal: A series of academic and creative activities are being organized from May 5 to May 12 to celebrate International Nurses Week at AIIMS Bhopal on the occasion of International Nurses Day. As part of this celebration, the Department of Nursing Services and College of Nursing organized a poetry recitation competition, in which nursing officers and students enthusiastically participated. The central theme of the competition was Nature Conservation and Environment, and the participants expressed sensitivity and the need for environmental protection through emotional, inspiring, and thought-provoking poems. This event not only provided a platform for the creative expression of the nursing community but also served as a significant step toward raising environmental awareness. The judging panel included Dr. Ajay Halder (Professor, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology), Prof. (Dr.) Sunita Athawale (Department of Anatomy), Gyanendra Bhushan (Administrative Officer), and Akhil T. (Nursing Superintendent). They appreciated the participants’ performances and encouraged them to continue nurturing their creativity. At the conclusion of the event, Waseem Akram expressed gratitude to all the participants, judges, and attendees.

On this occasion, ED Prof. (Dr.) Ajai Singh said, “International Nurses Week is not just a celebration, but an opportunity to acknowledge the multifaceted contributions of the nursing community.”
