Video of man threatening to kill cop goes viral

In Sehore, a video of a person threatening to kill Doraha police station in-charge of Sehore district of Madhya Pradesh went viral on social media. Taking cognizance of this matter today, the police have registered a case against the accused under various sections and started searching for him.

According to police sources, in the 32-second video going viral, it is seen that the miscreant is carrying a revolver in his waist. In that, the miscreant is heard threatening the TI of Doraha district Sehore police station.

Regarding the case, Doraha police station in-charge Rajesh Sinha said that the name of the young man who is threatening to kill him in the video is Naseem Khan, resident of Housing Board Colony, Nishatpura, Bhopal. A case under section 307 was registered against it on November 19. The accused is absconding in this case. Another case has been registered in Doraha police station under section 506, 94 in connection with the threat. A team has been deployed to arrest the accused.

Lokayukta arrests Sarpanch for taking bribe

Sarpanch Krishna Kumar Singh of Pasod village of Jaisinghnagar police station area of Shahdol district of Madhya Pradesh was today arrested red handed by the Lokayukta team of Rewa while taking a bribe of Rs 5000 from a villager.

Lokayukta sources said that Sarpanch Krishna Kumar of Gram Panchayat Pasod of Jaisingh development block of the district was caught taking bribe from a villager Amol Singh in the Panchayat building today in the matter of passing the bill for the pond construction work under the beneficiary scheme. Rs 5,000 as bribe has been seized from the Sarpanch.

In this matter, action is being taken by registering a case against the Sarpanch under the Prevention of Corruption Act.

Video exposes corruption at Jabalpur Central Jail

A video exposing corruption at Jabalpur Central Jail came to fore on Thursday. The clip shows an on-duty prisoner allegedly accepting 10% commission from the family members of the inmates for passing on the money to them inside the cell.

The video shows a money transaction between prisoner Nagendra engaged in the duty of collecting clothes and prisoner Ujiyar of open jail. It is being said that prisoners posted on jail duty take 10 percent commission from the family members and send the money to the inmates.
