United States Ambassador to India Kenneth Ian Juster on Wednesday headed a delegation that paid a courtesy call on Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath in the state capital and discussed issues pertaining to global peace, terrorism plus the business scenario, it was officially learnt.
“The Indo-US relationship witnessed a positive shift when the then Premier Rajiv Gandhi initiated the process of building a modern India. Madhya Pradesh offers immense scope in rapidly-emerging sectors such as tourism and pharmaceutical research.
American companies might look at the greater opportunities for mutual cooperation and trade intervention. Supportive infrastructure and a conducive environment for research prevail in the state,” the Chief Minister averred.
