Administrative Correspondent, Bhopal: Urban Development and Housing Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya has said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has started the PM Swanidhi Yojana for the economic strength of the urban poor. All the bodies of the state should boost their credibility by working with a spirit of welfare in the interest of the urban poor through this innovative scheme. He said that by performing well in this scheme, Madhya Pradesh has brought pride to the state across the country. Urban Development Minister Shri Vijayvargiya was addressing the PRAISE Award Ceremony under the PM-Swanidhi Yojana at Kushabhau Thakre International Convention Centre in Bhopal today.
Minister of State for Public Health and Family Welfare Shri Narendra Shivaji Patel was also present on this occasion. Under the PM Swanidhi Yojana, the street vendors of the urban area are provided the facility of working capital loan in three installments. Digital transactions are also being encouraged in the PM Swanidhi Yojana.
Minister Shri Vijayvargiya said that during the Corona period, the poor people living in the cities had faced a huge financial crisis. In view of these difficulties, Prime Minister Shri Modi started the PM Swanidhi Yojana.
