Bhopal: Union Petroleum Minister Hardeep Sinngh Puri has conveyed his best wishes to HPCL CMD Pushp Kumar Joshi. Joshi, whose illustrious career spanning more than 38 years in the oil & gas sector, belongs to Bhopal and will superannuate at the end of this month. An alumnus of LRI, Jamshedpur, Joshi served on the HPCL Board for 12 long years and made commendable contributions as the CMD since May 2022 particularly during the pandemic & energy crises. He, along with other senior leaders of the Maharatna, ensured that even as global fuel prices soared, Indian citizens did not face any rise in fuel prices, under leadership of PM Narendra Modi. Under his leadership, HPCL put nation first to provide fuel to citizens without increasing the prices at a time of extraordinary global price rise and bore heavy losses during difficult times. Kudos to their spirit and hard work, they subsequently bounced back with highest ever profits last year.
