New Delhi, Aug 20 (UNI) Union Minister of Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw introduces ‘The Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Bill, 2025’ amid ruckus in the Lok Sabha.
The motive of the Bill is to promote and regulate the realm of online gaming, including e-sports, educational games, and social gaming.
The online gaming bill aims to appoint an authority for the coordinated policy support, strategic development, and regulatory oversight of the sector to curb the offering, operation, facilitation, advertisement, promotion, and participation in online money games.
