- Snatching and a case of rape and blackmail filed
Bhopal: Two disturbing criminal incidents targeting women have come to light in the Aishbagh police jurisdiction of Bhopal.
The first incident occurred in the Sudama Nagar locality, where an unidentified assailant snatched a mobile phone from a 19-year-old woman and fled the scene. Police have registered a case under Sections 256 and 304(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Sub-Inspector Ganpat has been assigned to lead the investigation.
The second, more serious case was reported from the Ahata Mankasha Pul Bogda area. A 35-year-old woman has alleged that a man sexually assaulted her after threatening to leak her obscene photos online. A case has been registered at Aishbagh police station under Sections 257, 64(2)(M), and 351(3) of the BNS. Sub-Inspector Bhavna Sharma is handling the investigation.
Police are actively pursuing leads in both cases and have intensified efforts to uncover the full truth and bring the perpetrators to justice.
