Gwalior: A scrap dealer and his driver are missing after their truck was swept away by a flash flood in the swollen Parvati River near Gwalior. Despite warnings from villagers, the driver attempted to cross a bridge where floodwaters were flowing dangerously over the road.
The truck, carrying four men, was quickly submerged by the strong current. While two passengers in the back were successfully rescued and taken to a hospital, the driver, Rakesh, and the scrap dealer, Mukesh Rathore, were washed away. A large-scale search and rescue operation is now underway to find the two missing men. This incident serves as a grim reminder of the extreme dangers of crossing flooded roads during the monsoon season.
