Jangaon, Nov 16 (UNI) Two people killed on the spot and six others were injured when a Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) bus crashed into a stationary sand-laden lorry at Nidigonda in Raghunathpalli mandal in this district on Sunday.
Police said the accident occurred when the bus was travelling from Hanmakonda to Hyderabad. The deceased were identified as Navajith Singh of Hanmakonda and Om Prakash of Hyderabad.
The injured were shifted to a local hospital for treatment. The front portion of the bus was mangled in the impact.
A case has been registered and an investigation is in progress, police said.
