Bhopal: Along with the Regional Industry Conclave being organized by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav for industrial development in the state, IATO convention was held to promote investment in the tourism sector. In this sequence, a two-day mining conclave was organized in Bhopal on the initiative of CM Dr. Yadav. Industrialists were invited by giving detailed information about the mineral wealth of the state in the conclave. Chief Secretary Anurag Jain inaugurated the two-day mining conclave on Thursday at Kushabhau Thackeray International Convention Center in Bhopal. He said that the state is not only number one in mineral resources, but there is also abundance of water, coal and other natural resources here. Our government provides every possible facility to the investor in ease of doing business. On this occasion, MD of Mining Corporation Anurag Chaudhary, representatives of various stakeholders, industry leaders, academicians and major mineral companies and officials of the Mineral Department were present.
Jain said that Madhya Pradesh is leading in the country in the field of development. The state is progressing very fast in the field of mining. Madhya Pradesh is number two in the country after Gujarat in the field of electricity availability. Madhya Pradesh is an inclusive state. Madhya Pradesh is the state where there is “no man day loss” in industries. The labor laws here are industry friendly.
Rich in mineral wealth
The Chief Secretary said that Madhya Pradesh has immense mineral wealth. Madhya Pradesh is the only state in the country where diamonds are produced. Madhya Pradesh ranks first in the country in manganese and copper ore production, second in rock phosphate, third in limestone and fourth in coal production. Madhya Pradesh has a reserve of coal for the next 200 years. Jain said that this time the maximum number of coal blocks in the country were auctioned in Madhya Pradesh. Madhya Pradesh has a transparent auction regime. Madhya Pradesh will be far ahead in coal production in the next few years.

Hurdle free policy to boost investment
BLA Power Kesari Santosh Kumar Shukla said that investment will increase due to hurdle free industrial policy made as per the vision of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. Mining Conclave will establish a new dimension in industrial development in the state. He said that we are completely satisfied with the awareness and proper arrangements of the state government. There is a lot of potential for industrialization in MP. We will invest more and more here. Chairman CII Madhya Pradesh State Council Mr. Ashish Vaishya said that through this conclave, investment in the mining sector in the state will be promoted.
