New Delhi, Aug 4 (UNI) US President Donald Trump today threatened India with ”substantially raising” the tariff for buying Russian oil and selling it on the open market for big profits.
In a post on his social media account President Trump said India doesn’t ”care” how many people are being killed in Ukraine by the Russian war machine.
”India is not only buying massive amounts of Russian Oil, they are then, for much of the Oil purchased, selling it on the Open Market for big profits. They don’t care how many people in Ukraine are being killed by the Russian War Machine. Because of this, I will be substantially raising the Tariff paid by India to the USA,” he said.
On August one President Trump had imposed a 25 percent tariff on India.
