Trump again attacks NATO, calls them ‘cowards’, ‘paper tiger’ without US

New Delhi, Mar 21 (UNI) Continuing his tirade against NATO, US President Donald Trump called the military alliance ‘cowards’ and ‘paper tiger’ without the United States and warned that the US will ‘remember.’ ‘NATO IS A PAPER TIGER! They didn’t want to join the fight to stop a nuclear-powered Iran,’ Trump said on his social media platform.

He said that now that the fight against Iran is militarily won, with very little danger for them (NATO), they complain about the high oil prices they are forced to pay, but don’t want to help open the Strait of Hormuz.

Opening of the Strait of Hormuz is a simple military manoeuvre that is the single reason for the high oil prices, he added.

‘So easy for them to do, with so little risk. COWARDS, and we will REMEMBER,’ he added.

The latest salvo against NATO comes three days after Trump called them ‘absolute fools’ for not helping him in opening the Strait of Hormuz.

Trump trained his guns on NATO because the military alliance refused to meet his demand of sending warships to the area to free the strategic Strait from Iranian control.
