Trump administration wants public apology from Zelenskyy: Reports

Moscow, Mar 2 (UNI) The administration of US President Donald Trump wants a public apology from Volodymyr Zelenskyy after their spat at a meeting in the White House, Bloomberg reported, citing an unnamed European official.

The meeting between Trump and Zelenskyy took place in Washington on Friday, and it turned into a spat.

According to Fox News, Trump “threw out” Zelenskyy after a conflict during which the American leader felt disrespected. The signing of a deal on rare earth metals between Washington and Kiev was cancelled.

Earlier, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, in an interview with CNN, called on Zelenskyy to apologise after his meeting with Trump.
