Tripura youth gets job in Tokyo

Agartala, Oct 21 (UNI) Janas Jamatia, a resident of Twirisa Kami in Teliamura under Tripura’s Khowai district, has made history as the first tribal youth to land a nursing job in Tokyo, thanks to the support from Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (ADC) for his training.

ADC’s Chief Executive Member Purna Chandra Jamatia, along with Executive Member Kamal Kalai and a group of supporters, visited Janas to congratulate him on this remarkable achievement. During their visit, CEM Jamatia offered him personal financial assistance as a token of encouragement, expressed his hopes for Janas’s success in his five-year employment contract, and inspired youth to explore global opportunities.

Jamatia shared his pride in Janas’s accomplishment, “He is the first individual from our Tiprasa community to receive a job opportunity in Tokyo, Japan. I also extended some personal financial assistance to him as a gesture of encouragement.”

Coming from a modest background, Janas benefited from ADC scheme, which provides Rs 50,000 per candidate for Japanese language training aimed at helping nurses secure jobs in Japan. This initiative was spearheaded by TMP Founder and AARC Chairman Pradyot Bikram Kishore Debbarma, who facilitated a MoU with Navis HR in Bangalore.

Janas is the first among all sponsored trainees to secure an international placement in the healthcare sector. CEM Jamatia conveyed his optimism that, upon completing his five-year contract, Janas will have even more career opportunities awaiting him.
