Tree plantation drive to be held at IGRMS today

Bhopal: A special tree plantation program will be organized on July 17, 2025, at 4:00 PM in the premises of Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya. The event will be held under the theme “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam”, symbolizing reverence towards motherhood, the motherland, and the shared responsibility of environmental protection.

The Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), along with the Central Storage Depot and Workshop, Bhopal (CSD&W, SSB), will actively participate in the event.

Director of the Sangrahalaya, Professor Amitabh Pandey, stated that the primary objective of this initiative is to awaken environmental consciousness and contribute to the greening of the museum campus through collective efforts.

He further emphasized that this tree plantation is not merely a formal event but a “sanskar”—a sacred act meant to strengthen and rejuvenate the human connection with nature. The program aims to inspire the community to treat environmental protection as a heartfelt and spiritual responsibility.
