Traffic restrictions in Dehra–Jwalamukhi on Dec 20 for SSB Foundation Day

Dharamshala, Dec 18 (UNI) Traffic restrictions will be enforced on several routes in the Dehra and Jwalamukhi areas on December 20 in view of the Seema Surakshaa Bal (SSB) Foundation Day celebrations at the SSB Training Centre in Sapdi, where the union Home Minister will attend as the chief guest.
Dehra Superintendent of Police Mayank Choudhary said vehicular movement on key routes will remain completely restricted from 11:15 am until the arrival of the chief guest, and again from 2 pm until his departure after the event.
According to the police, vehicles will be diverted or stopped at multiple points, with traffic from Dehra towards Jwalamukhi being halted at Kathog, vehicles travelling from Nadaun towards Jwalamukhi, Kangra and Dehra stopped at the Ganju Da Bagh bypass, traffic from Kangra and Ranital towards Jwalamukhi restricted at the Sapdi bypass, and vehicles moving from Jwalamukhi towards Khaula, Sapdi, Khundiyan and Ranital stopped at the Khidki bridge.
Police have advised commuters to plan their travel in advance and use alternative routes, particularly in case of emergencies. The public has been urged to cooperate with the police administration to ensure smooth conduct of the event and avoid inconvenience.
