Top BJP leaders extend greetings to PM Modi on 75th birthday

New Delhi, Sept 17 (UNI) As Prime Minister Narendra Modi marked his 75th birthday today, senior ministers and party leaders, including union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP national president JP Nadda, extended their greetings and lauded his leadership, vision, and global stature.

The BJP is observing the occasion as part of a fortnight-long nationwide campaign, Sewa Pakhwada, running from today to October 2, coinciding with Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary.

The initiative includes service-oriented programmes focusing on health, cleanliness, welfare schemes, and public engagement across the country.

On this occasion, the Prime Minister launched several public welfare schemes and service initiatives. Simultaneously, BJP leaders and union Ministers inaugurated similar programmes in various states and districts. union Home Minister Amit Shah, in a message on social media platform X, praised the Prime Minister’s strategic foresight and problem-solving approach.

“Resolving complex challenges with clarity and commitment is a defining feature of Modi Ji’s leadership. The global community sees him as a problem-solving leader,” he stated.

Shah further noted that in an era of global conflict and geopolitical tension, Modi had emerged as a vital bridge of dialogue and diplomacy. “This is reflected in the fact that 27 countries have honoured him with their highest civilian awards — a testament to his global statesmanship.”

BJP National President and union Health Minister JP Nadda also extended his wishes, describing Modi as “the most popular leader in the world” and the “architect of New India.”

“Heartfelt birthday greetings to our esteemed Pradhan Sevak, Shri Narendra Modi Ji. Guided by the principle of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas, the Prime Minister has taken transformative steps to uplift all sections of society and build a self-reliant and developed India,” Nadda wrote. He further highlighted that under Modi’s leadership, India’s spiritual and cultural heritage had attained renewed global recognition. “Your visionary guidance is a source of inspiration for countless BJP workers across the country. May you be blessed with good health and a long life,” he added.

Union Minister for Road Transport and former BJP president Nitin Gadkari expressed similar sentiments, writing on X, “Under your leadership, may India be completely free from terrorism and corruption, achieve self-reliance, and once again assume the role of Vishwaguru (world teacher). I pray for your continued good health and long life.”

Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports and MP from Rajkot, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, in his message, posted, “Heartfelt wishes to the world’s most popular leader and our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, who considers 140 crore Indians his family and remains unwaveringly committed to the nation’s progress.”

He further described the Prime Minister’s life as a reflection of “dedication, austerity, and national service.” “Under your leadership, India is moving rapidly towards self-reliance and has achieved remarkable progress across various sectors. May the Almighty bless you with a long, healthy life, so that the nation continues to benefit from your visionary leadership,” Dr. Mandaviya stated.

Meanwhile, early morning, Delhi CM Rekha Gupta, Cabinet Ministers and other BJP leaders participate in the Seva Sankalp Walk at India Gate, on the occasion of the Prime Minister’s birthday.

The BJP has traditionally commemorated the Prime Minister’s birthday with outreach and public service activities. This year’s Sewa Pakhwada carries added significance as Modi enters his 75th year — marking an important personal and political milestone.
