Tight security at Raja Bhoj Airport due to Republic Day

In view of Republic Day celebrations, the security arrangements at Raja Bhoj Airport in Bhopal have been tightened. The afternoon flight between Bhopal and Delhi operated by IndiGo will be canceled for the next seven days. This flight, which was scheduled to operate from Sunday until January 26, will not be available. However, the morning and evening flights will continue to operate as usual.

According to airport sources, flight number 6E-5083 departs from Bhopal at 12:25 PM and reaches Delhi at 1:05 PM. The return flight lands in Bhopal at 2:25 PM. This particular flight has been canceled for a week, and IndiGo has also stopped advanced bookings for these seven days.

Additionally, the Airport Authority of India, at the request of the CISF, has imposed a ban on public access to the airport starting from January 20 (Monday) for a period of 11 days. During this time, access will also be restricted for visitors accompanying passengers, and this measure will remain in place until January 30.
