Three St. Joseph Convent School girls to represent District in Inter-District Kho Kho

Bhopal: Three students from St. Joseph’s Convent School, Idgah Hills, have been selected to represent the Bhopal district in the upcoming inter-district school Kho Kho competition to be held in Rajgarh. Soumya Nahar, Aaradhya Lakhera, and Virati Nahar will compete in the Under-17 girls’ category, with their school’s sports teacher, Vishnu Kant Sahay, appointed as the team’s coach.

Soumya Nahar is a seasoned player who previously represented Madhya Pradesh in the SGFI National Kho Kho tournament last year. According to Coach Sahay, their selection is a direct result of their years of dedicated practice and hard work.

The entire school community, including Principal Sister Lily, Vice-Principal Sister Stania, and sports officials Ravdeep Singh Malhari, Jitendra Shukla, Bhumika Singh, Amandeep Kaur, Kirti Goswami, and Shraddha Patil, expressed their joy and extended best wishes to the students and their coach for the upcoming tournament. Their selection is a source of great pride for the school, reflecting its commitment to excellence in both academics and sports.
