Thirty-one CBI officers to receive meritorious service medals on Republic Day 2026

New Delhi, Jan 25 (UNI) On the occasion of Republic Day-2026, 31 officers of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) have been awarded President’s Police Medal for distinguished service and police medal for meritorious service, the investigation agency said on Sunday.

President’s Police Medals for Distinguished Service have been awarded to six officials Chandrasekar Venupillai, IPS, Head of Zone, (Delhi Zone), Amit Srivastava, Superintendent of Police, (SP Admin), Mukesh Sharma, Additional Superintendent of Police, CBI, SC-III, Pramod Kumar Yati, Sub Inspector, CBI, SU, Kolkata, Chaman Lal, Assistant Sub Inspector, CBI Academy, Ghaziabad and Ramu Golla, Head Constable, CBI, ACB, Hyderabad.

Police Medals for meritorious service have been awarded to twenty five officials – Venkata Subba Reddy Chinnakondu, Sadanand Shankarrao Date, Manmohan Sharma, Baidyanath Samal, Kailash Sahu, Rubi Choudhary, Manish Kumar Upadhyay, Anmol Sachan, Nishu Kushwaha, Arijit Sinha, Sharad Suresh Bhawar, Thahir Abbas P, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Dharmendra Kumar, Dharmender, Deepti Vashista, Narikote Nandini, Vinod Kumar, Netram Chourasiya, Puran Mal Gujar, Bhola Roy, Babu Varghese, Vikram Singh, Sanjeev Kumar, Waikhom Rajesh Singh, and Rupendra Kumar.
