Bhopal: In a shocking incident near the RRL Trisection underbridge in Bagsewania, a mute and deaf young man had his mobile phone snatched by two miscreants riding an Activa scooter. The incident occurred on the night of March 4, around 11:30 PM. Following a complaint filed by the victim’s brother, the police have registered a case of snatching and have initiated a search for the suspects. CCTV footage is being examined to identify the culprits.
According to the police, Atul Kumar Suryavanshi, a resident of E-6, Arera Colony, reported that his 27-year-old brother, Akash Suryavanshi, who is mute and communicates through sign language, was at DB Mall earlier that evening. Afterward, he waited near the underbridge at RRL Trisection for transportation to go home. During this time, two men on an Activa scooter approached him, and the one sitting at the back snatched his mobile phone. Despite his efforts to chase the thieves, Akash couldn’t catch up as the miscreants sped off.
Akash returned home and informed his brother, Atul, who immediately took him to the police station to file the complaint. The search for the criminals continues.
