Bhopal, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that the state government is firmly committed to the welfare of the poor, farmers (Annadata), youth, and women of Madhya Pradesh. Inspired by the values of Lord Shri Ram, the government is fulfilling every promise made to the people. The 24th instalment of the Ladli Behna Yojana has been released for more than 1.27 crore women in the state. By transferring ₹1,250 every month to their accounts, the state celebrates Raksha Bandhan with its sisters each month.
Dr. Yadav emphasised that honouring women has been a timeless tradition in India. “We are followers of Lord Ram’s ideals—those who fulfil their promises, even at the cost of their lives,” he said. The entire state feels proud to honour its Ladli Behnas, who have collectively received benefits exceeding ₹28,000 crore so far. “The government’s doors are always open for sisters,” he affirmed. He added that when money reaches women’s accounts, it brings prosperity into homes, comparing them to the goddess Lakshmi.
India is the only country where the land is worshipped as a mother, Dr. Yadav said, reflecting on the deep-rooted values of Indian family culture, where mothers prioritise their children over themselves.
The Chief Minister made these remarks while addressing a state-level event in Sidhi, where he distributed welfare benefits and performed inauguration and foundation-laying ceremonies for development projects.
In a single click, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav transferred ₹1,551.89 crore to the accounts of 1.27 crore Ladli Behnas, ₹341 crore to 56.83 lakh social security pension beneficiaries, and ₹30.83 crore for LPG cylinder refills to over 26 lakh women.
He also inaugurated and laid the foundation stones with Bhoomi-Pujan for various development projects in Sidhi district worth ₹112 crore. He declared that there will be no compromise in the development of the Rewa-Sidhi region.
Farmers Also Receiving Financial Benefits
The Chief Minister highlighted that, alongside women, the government has also transferred funds to farmers under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi and the CM Kisan Samman Nidhi. The state government has presented a ₹4.21 lakh crore budget for this fiscal year, aiming to raise Madhya Pradesh’s per capita income to ₹22.5 lakh by 2047.
He noted that wheat was procured from farmers at ₹2,600 per quintal. Since 2003, the state’s per capita income has risen from ₹11,200 to ₹1.52 lakh.
Vindhya Region—Land of Military Leadership
Dr. Yadav proudly stated that the Vindhya region has produced top commanders in both the Army and Navy, reinforcing its role in leading India’s defence forces. He praised the bravery of the Indian Army in recently neutralising terrorists involved in the Pahalgam attack and said that Operation Sindoor, conducted by Indian forces, symbolically conveyed the significance of sindoor (vermillion) to the world.
Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Dr. Yadav said, Pakistan has been exposed on the global stage. “India is entering a new era, and our military’s valour makes the entire country proud,” he said, noting that victory parades and Tiranga rallies are being held across cities.
MP Dr. Rajesh Mishra welcomed guests and highlighted Chief Minister Yadav’s strong association with Vindhya. He praised the Chief Minister for ensuring BJP’s victory across all Lok Sabha seats from the region.
MLA from Sidhi, Smt. Riti Pathak said the ₹112 crore development package will accelerate Sidhi’s overall progress.
The Chief Minister was welcomed in Sidhi with traditional tribal Shaila and Karma folk dances. He visited various departmental exhibitions, purchased and tasted local laddus, and felicitated students who earned merit in board exams.
Also present were State Minister for Cottage & Village Industries (Independent Charge) and District In-charge Minister Shri Dilip Jaiswal, MLAs Shri Vishwamitra Pathak (Sihawal) and Shri Divyaraj Singh (Sirmaur), District Panchayat President Smt. Manju Singh, Municipality President, Smt. Kajal Verma, and several former legislators and public representatives. Thousands of citizens attended the event.
