‘The Night Manager 2’ teaser released: Tom Hiddleston returns in crime drama

New Delhi, Nov 8 (UNI) The long-awaited teaser for the second season of ‘The Night Manager’, starring Tom Hiddleston, has finally dropped, building excitement for the crime thriller’s return in 2026.

After an eight-year hiatus, Hiddleston reprises his role as former British intelligence operative Jonathan Pine.

Posting the teaser on Instagram, Prime Video writes, “Only one man for the job. Watch the new season of The Night Manager starting January 11 on Prime Video.”

The teaser opens with Pine confronting memories of his past trauma, yet resolutely declaring, “I am the man who will not explode.”

Filmed across the UK, Spain, Colombia, and France, Season 2 follows Pine — now living under the alias Alex Goodwin — on a dangerous mission to uncover a conspiracy aimed at destabilising a nation.

According to the official synopsis, Pine has been trying to bury his past as a low-level MI6 officer running a quiet surveillance unit in London. However, a chance encounter with an old mercenary associated with Roper propels him into a deadly game involving Colombian businessman Teddy Dos Santos (Diego Calva) and businesswoman Roxana Bolanos (Camila Morrone).

Pine must navigate shifting allegiances and treacherous betrayals while racing to expose the conspiracy before it’s too late.

The first three episodes will premiere on Prime Video on January 11, 2026, with one new episode releasing every Sunday. The season finale will air on February 1, 2026. All six episodes will stream exclusively on Prime Video worldwide (excluding the UK) and on BBC and BBC iPlayer in the UK.

Alongside Hiddleston, Olivia Colman will return as Angela Burr, reprising her BAFTA-winning role. New cast members include Diego Calva, Camila Morrone, Indira Varma, Paul Chahidi, and Hayley Squires, promising fresh dynamics in the gripping narrative.

‘The Night Manager Season 2’ is created and executive produced by David Farr and fully directed by BAFTA winner Georgi Banks-Davies. The makers promise a tense, globe-spanning thriller that elevates the stakes higher than ever for Jonathan Pine.
