The opening ceremony, graced by Madhya Pradesh Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Vishvas Sarang, became the stage for a friendly arm-wrestling match between wrestling legend “The Great Khali” and Olympic boxing champion Vijender Singh.
Adding a touch of Bollywood flair to the event, actor Rajpal Yadav, in his role as a witty mediator, orchestrated the face-off between the two heavyweights. The exhilarating moment, filled with cheers from the crowd, highlighted the star power behind the league. Khali, who announced his role as the brand ambassador for the Sher-e-Ludhiana franchise, has a history with arm wrestling and expressed his pride in the team’s confidence. Vijender Singh is representing the Rohtak Rowdies.
The Pro Panja League, co-founded by actors Parveen Dabbas and Preeti Jhangiani, is poised for an action-packed season.
