Mumbai, Oct 24 (UNI) Bollywood star Ayushmann Khurrana has shared an emotional note on the success of his latest release “Thamma”.
Since its release, “Thamma” has been basking in audience love and critical acclaim, emerging as one of the most successful films within the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe, which began with “Stree”, “Bhediya” and “Munjya”.
Taking to Instagram, the actor shared a deeply personal post featuring candid pictures and clips with his family and veteran actor Paresh Rawal. He captioned, “This family has seen a lot in the last few years. The success of Thamma is like a beautiful divine light. It is a result of the collective prayers of the young and old present here.”
Ayushmann said, “‘Ayushmaan Bhavaah’ that’s what my father used to say whenever I touched his feet. When Paresh ji said ‘Ayushmaan Bhavaah’ in the film, it felt like my father, my guardian angel, had blessed me. My family, my late father and the audience has blessed Thamma with love.”
Acknowledging his admirers, Ayushmann said, if someday his fans see him overwhelmed with emotions at any theatre, it is because he wanted to express his gratitude and exchange a few hi and hellos.
