New Delhi, Aug 11 (UNI) Tesla launched its next milestone by opening the ‘Tesla Experience Center’ in the National Capital.
It is located at Worldmark 3, Aerocity, New Delhi.
This is the second charging station launch of Tesla in India, just 27 days after the grand inauguration of the Mumbai BKC Center, which shows that the automotive giant is monitoring the Indian market.
Reportedly, Tesla’s Delhi ‘Experience Center’ spans nearly 8,200 square feet, which shows the automobile giant emphasized the strategic importance of this location. Tesla is intended to target high-net-worth people as the location is connected to Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI), major commercial hubs, shopping destinations, and key residential areas.
Aerocity’s location near the airport will ensure the visibility of international travelers, and the ‘Experience Center’ at this place will allow Tesla to showcase the vehicles and interact directly with them.
This location will provide easy access to policymakers and automobile regulators for experiencing Tesla’s services. It will be advantageous for the automotive giant to strengthen its grip on the Indian market.
Moreover, the Delhi-Gurugram corridor can be a key market opportunity for Tesla as Aerocity serves as a central point for reaching customers in both cities.
The popularity of Tesla vehicles is booming as it does not need regular maintenance and are specially designed to eliminate the service parts. These vehicles are powered up with remote diagnostics and over-the-air software updates for great performance.
Tesla forerunner Model ‘Y’ provides multiple features including range, performance, safety and technology. It offers you a seamless seating experience with power-fold seaters.
Model ‘Y’ has the rear-wheel drive and long range rear-wheel drive capacity of 500km and 622 km, respectively. Moreover, customers can experience the maximum speed of 201km/h on both these versions.
The base price variants for Model ‘Y’ are also in two variants: Standard Range and Long Range, which are priced at Rs 59.89 lakh and Rs 67.89 lakh, respectively. Both prices are ex-showroom and subject to local taxes.
The charging station at Aerocity has advanced functionalities, including four V4 Supercharging stalls (DC) and three Destination Charging Stalls (AC). It will offer an option to customers to select the stall of their choice and need.
Moreover, these Supercharging Stalls leverage smart technologies that enable customers to follow the quick top-ups during long journeys.
With the help of advanced superchargers, Tesla wants to focus on the methodology of ‘Simply plug in, charge, and drive’ as these Superchargers enable reliable charging for customers on the go.
Keeping sustainable development in mind, Tesla is also providing a complimentary Wall Connector with every new Tesla vehicle purchased this quarter. Customers can install these Wall Connectors at homes or workplaces, allowing them to start the day with fully charged vehicles.
Tesla has almost 70,000 Superchargers worldwide and is named the largest global fast-charging network. Moreover, these stations are strategically located near convenient amenities for easy customer access.
