New Delhi, Oct 1 (UNI) The much-awaited teaser of Dhanush and Kriti Sanon starrer Tere Ishk Mein has finally been unveiled, offering a glimpse into a powerful tale of love and rebellion.
Billed as the spiritual sequel to Dhanush and Sonam Kapoor’s Raanjhanaa (2013), the film is directed by Aanand L Rai with music composed by A.R. Rahman.
The 2-minute 4-second teaser opens with Kriti Sanon’s Haldi ceremony, suddenly interrupted by Dhanush. With bruises on his face and grief in his eyes, Dhanush delivers a monologue mourning his father’s death.
In a striking moment, he pours Ganga jal over Kriti, telling her to cleanse her “old sins” before beginning a new life.
The teaser then shifts into flashbacks of Dhanush and Kriti’s passionate romance, eventually revealing the bitterness that follows.
In one intense scene, Dhanush curses Kriti, declaring, “May Shankar bless you with a son. Then you’ll understand that the ones who die for love. They, too, are somebody’s son.”
Sharing the teaser on Instagram, T-Series described the film as a story of love, loss, and vengeance.
Director Aanand L Rai first hinted at the project on the 10th anniversary of Raanjhanaa, teasing Dhanush’s new role with a fiery monologue, “Pichli baar toh Kundan tha, maan gaya. Par iss baar Shankar ko kaise rokoge?”
Produced by Gulshan Kumar, T-Series, and Colour Yellow Productions, along with Aanand L Rai, Himanshu Sharma, Bhushan Kumar, and Krishan Kumar, the film is set to release in theatres on November 28, 2025.
