Bhopal: A suicide video has emerged 17 days after a 30-year-old tent businessman, Himanshu Yadav, tragically took his own life in Bhopal. In the heartbreaking video, Yadav directly accuses his wife, Vaishali, and father-in-law, Ramlal, of driving him to suicide through relentless harassment and threats.
According to the video, Vaishali had left their home on July 21 with her father and had since refused to return. Yadav claimed that his wife and father-in-law were constantly threatening to file a false police report and have him and his father arrested. His desperate pleas for her to return were met with silence, causing immense mental distress.
Yadav’s family claims that Vaishali would frequently lock herself in a room, arguing with her husband over her excessive use of her mobile phone. His father, Rajkumar Yadav, stated that his “happy and prosperous” son, a civil engineer by profession, was forced to end his life due to his wife’s constant harassment. The couple had an arranged marriage on June 7, 2023.
Police have registered a case and are now investigating the family’s statements and the new video evidence to determine the appropriate legal action.
