Bhopal: Railway authorities have announced a three-month extension for the temporary stoppage of six express trains operating via the Bhopal Division. These trains, which previously halted at Barkakana (BRKA), will now continue their temporary stop at Ranchi Road Station (RRO) in the Dhanbad Division of East Central Railway.
This extension is effective from October 31, 2025, to January 31, 2026.
The decision to shift the stop from Barkakana to Ranchi Road Station is aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and punctuality. By avoiding Barkakana, the necessity for train reversal (change of direction) is eliminated, leading to smoother movement.
The trains affected and their temporary arrival/departure times at Ranchi Road Station are provided in the table below:
