Student falls from third floor, condition critical

Bhopal, A tragic accident occurred on Thursday at Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication when a first-semester student, Divyansh Choukse, a resident of Raisen, fell from the third floor of the university building.

The incident took place after his class ended. Reports suggest the student was near the balcony when he suddenly lost his balance and fell to the ground. Fellow students and staff rushed Divyansh, who sustained severe injuries to his head, chest, and other parts of his body, to a hospital. Due to his critical condition, he was immediately referred to Apollo Hospital, where his condition remains fragile.

Rati Bad police quickly arrived at the scene and launched an investigation. Police officials stated it is currently unclear whether the incident was an accident or had other underlying causes. Authorities are examining CCTV footage to ascertain the exact sequence of events.

The police are also investigating angles of potential suicide or external conspiracy. Students and staff are being questioned to gather details about Divyansh’s activities leading up to the fall. The unfortunate incident has caused a sense of shock and anxiety across the university campus.
