State sizzles under heat wave impact

  • Chances of monsoon from June 14; cyclonic circulation active

Bhopal: People are facing severe heat in Madhya Pradesh. The information about heat wave along with heat till Friday has been released by the Meteorological Department. The Meteorological Department has predicted that there is an outbreak of severe heat in the state. During this time, heat wave will also wreak havoc. On Friday also, heat wave will blow in districts including Morena, Sheopurkala, Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh, Niwari. During this time the wind speed can be 40 to 50 km per hour.

According to meteorologists, there is a possibility of southwest monsoon advancing in some more parts of central and adjoining eastern India in the state around June 14. A trough is extending from north-east Rajasthan to the cyclonic circulation of upper air (west-central Bay of Bengal) through Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh at an altitude of 0.9 km above mean sea level. Upper air cyclonic circulation is active over East Uttar Pradesh at a height of 1.5 km above mean sea level.
