- AIIMS Bhopal’s Initiative
Bhopal: AIIMS Bhopal continues to take meaningful steps toward promoting medical safety and public awareness. In line with this mission, the Department of Pharmacology organized a special awareness campaign at Government Middle School, Bhojpur, Raisen. The event was conducted by the Medical Devices Adverse Event Reporting Monitoring Centre and Regional Training Centre (RTC), in collaboration with the Department of Community and Family Medicine.
During the session, Dr. Aman, Senior Resident, and Mohd Faizan Khan from the Department of Pharmacology educated students about the safe use of medical devices and the importance of reporting any adverse events. Practical demonstrations were given on the correct use of common devices such as thermometers, blood pressure monitors, glucometers, masks, sanitizers, and asthma inhalers.
The interactive approach made the session lively and informative. The programme concluded with the message, “Safe Devices Mean Safe Lives.” Students pledged to share what they learned with their families and communities, reinforcing AIIMS Bhopal’s commitment to medical safety and public health awareness.
