- Crowds throng to see mud rally in Sehore

The thrill comes automatically with the word race and Sunday was full of thrills for race lovers. MLA Trophy Mud Car Rally was organized on Sunday in the hills of Gudbhela village near Sehore district headquarters. Hundreds of people reached the hilly area to see the thrilling race.
Watching the race of sports cars running at high speed on rough roads was a unique experience for the audience. More than 70 car drivers participated in this mud rally, in which the city’s residents Salman Khan and Hammad Siddiqui were the winners. They received a trophy along with a cash prize of 71 thousand rupees from MLA Sudesh Rai. Every year during the rains, a mud rally is organized in the Gudbhela hills near the city. Car racing enthusiasts from many nearby districts participate in the rally. This time the rally was organized from 10 am on Sunday. Racers from Sehore, Vidisha, Bhopal, Raisen, Shajapur, Dewas, Indore and many other districts arrived in the rally with their sports cars. The winners were decided on the basis of their times across a six kilometer long rough and muddy rocky path.
While Salman and Hammad of Sehore got first place in the race, Ashar Khan of Raisen got second place and was given 31 thousand rupees and a trophy. Bilal Khan of Sehore got third place and was given 21 thousand rupees in cash and a trophy.
