Bhopal: The 54th Acharya Padarohan Day of Saint Shiromani Acharya Gurudev Vidyasagar Ji Mahamuniraj will be celebrated across the country on November 7, in the pious presence of Muni Shri Praman Sagar Maharaj. To commemorate this occasion, a three-day series of spiritual and cultural programmes will be held at Shri Vidya Praman Gurukulam.
On Saturday, November 8, the foundation stone of various development projects of the Gurukulam will be laid, followed by the National Convention of Gunayatan, which will witness the participation of devotees from India and abroad. The concluding day, Sunday, November 9, will mark the Pichhika Parivartan Ceremony and the conclusion of the Chaturmas stay in Bhopal.
Spokesperson Avinash Jain ‘Vidyavani’ informed that a 55-minute Shantidhara was performed on the Kartik Purnima morning, attended by devotees from Bhopal and Indore.
Recalling the significance of the day, he said Acharya Vidyasagar Ji was conferred the title of Acharya by his Guru, Acharya Gyan Sagar Ji Maharaj, in Ajmer. Addressing devotees, Muni Shri Praman Sagar Maharaj emphasized that true pilgrimage lies in spiritual awakening, not mere travel. He urged devotees to practice celibacy, simplicity, and inner reflection during pilgrimages to experience genuine joy and transformation.
