- Railway Ministry gives green signal for convenience of passengers, these trains will run from 1 October to 30 November

This time around, the Railway Ministry will operate more than 6000 special trains for smooth movement of passengers during Dussehra-Durga, Diwali and Chhath Puja.
These trains will run between 1 October and 30 November. It is said that more than 100 pairs of these trains will pass through Itarsi, Bhopal stations of West Central Railway.
WCR’s Senior DCM Saurabh Kataria said that every year the railway operates special trains on festivals, but this year the number of special trains has been increased. Last year also the railway operated festival special trains with 4429 trips. This provided a lot of convenience to millions of passengers in their travel. This time, for two months, these special trains will make more than 6000 trips and will work to transport a large number of passengers to their destination. It is worth mentioning that lakhs of passengers travel during Durga Puja, Diwali and Chhath festivals.
Preparations have been made to run special trains to provide smooth and comfortable travel to the crowd of passengers.
All three divisions of Jabalpur zone will get trains
He said that every year, on Durga Puja, Diwali and Chhath Puja, a large number of people from all over the country including Madhya Pradesh depart towards Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. For the people of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, these festivals not only have religious significance, but are also an important occasion to meet families. Due to the crowd of passengers during these festivals, tickets in most trains go into the waiting list three months in advance. Keeping this in mind, the railways will run special trains. Soon the schedule of these trains passing through Bhopal division will be released.
