Bhopal: To accommodate the surge in passenger traffic for the upcoming Raksha Bandhan festival, West Central Railway has announced a special weekly express train service between Rani Kamalapati and Rewa.
The special train, numbered 01661/01662, will run for a single trip. Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Saurabh Kataria confirmed that the train will depart from Rani Kamalapati on Friday, August 8, 2025, at 7:35 PM, arriving in Rewa the following morning at 6:20 AM. The return journey from Rewa will begin on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 7:35 AM, reaching Rani Kamalapati at 7:20 PM the same day.
The train will have stops at Vidisha, Bina, Sagar, Damoh, Katni Murwara, Maihar, and Satna. With a composition of 18 coaches, including AC-3 Tier, AC-3 Economy, Sleeper, and General Class, the special service aims to provide a comfortable travel option for passengers during the festive season.
