Spanish Ambassador visits Delhi govt’s school of Specialized Excellence

New Delhi, Nov 23 (UNI) A Spanish delegation along with Ambassador of Spain to India, HE Jose Maria Ridao, on Thursday visited Dr. B.R Ambedkar School of Specialized Excellence (ASoSEs) in Delhi.

The delegation engaged with students across various classes, witnessing firsthand the high-end 21st-century skills imparted through Delhi government’s innovative educational programs at ASoSEs, Office of the education minister said in a communique.

During the interaction, Delhi Education Minister Atishi said, “It was a privilege to host the Spanish delegation. This international recognition underscores the Delhi government’s dedication to redefining education, not only at the national level but also on the global stage. This visit of the Spanish delegation marks a milestone in the government’s efforts to showcase Delhi’s schools as examples of educational excellence and innovation.”

The specialized education being provided by the schools of the Delhi government is hope for the future and will give a major boost to the country on a global stage, it said.

During the visit, the delegation first attended a Spanish language class, followed by mindfulness class moderated in Spanish and German language class. The delegation also interacted with students in Happiness Class, Entrepreneurship class, Fashion Design & Aesthetic Lab, Finance & Accounting class, Robotics & Automation Class, and Digital Media & Design Lab.

HE Jose Maria Ridao expressed his admiration for Delhi’s education model and commended the Delhi government for its commitment to providing a well-rounded education that prepares students for the complexities of the global landscape, it added.
