Pune, July 9 (UNI) The Southwest Monsoon has been vigorous over Vidarbha and active over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, and Chhattisgarh, India Meteorological Department (IMD) said today.
The SW Monsoon has been subdued in Arunachal Pradesh, Bihar, eastern Rajasthan, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, and the southern interior region of Karnataka.
Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Vidarbha, Konkan and Goa, coastal Karnataka and Kerala and at many places in Sub Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh, eastern Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Maharashtra and Lakshadweep, the IMD bulletin said.
These have also occurred at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Odisha, east Uttar Pradesh, west Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, west Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat State, Telangana and interior Karnataka and at isolated places in Bihar, Punjab, west Rajasthan, east Rajasthan, Marathwada, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalseema, Tamil Nadu and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
