New Delhi, June 19 (UNI) Congress Parliamentary Party chairperson Sonia Gandhi was discharged from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital on Thursday after receiving treatment for a stomach-related ailment.
Hospital sources said that Gandhi’s health has improved, and she is doing well. She left the hospital for her residence along with her son and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi.
According to the hospital, 78-year-old Gandhi is in stable condition. She had also undergone a medical check-up at the hospital last week.
Notably, the former Congress president was admitted to the hospital on Sunday night following complaints of abdominal discomfort.
