- A collective commitment to a cleaner and greener Bhopal
Bhopal: In a heartfelt gathering organized by the social group Parshvanath, a pledge was taken to protect the environment, reflecting the group’s core values of mutual cooperation and kindness towards all living beings. The event took place at the pilgrimage site of Kurana near the capital, where members assembled at the Mulnayak statue of Lord Adinath. The gathering began with the lighting of lamps near Lord Adinath’s image and the recitation of the Bhaktamar Stotra, wishing happiness and well-being for all. The women members of the group performed Mangalacharan, marking the spiritual tone of the event.
Group president Manoj Jain Mannu emphasized the need for social responsibility, announcing that members will actively participate in the campaign to make Bhopal clean and beautiful. He added that the group will initiate tree plantation drives at temples and social spaces, along with a public awareness campaign promoting cleanliness and environmental care.
Secretary Prabhat Jain Bachpan conducted the event, while treasurer Alok Happy extended his gratitude. Former presidents Manish RM and Vipin Jain MPT stressed that it is the fundamental duty of every citizen to contribute to a cleaner city. They shared that the group will soon develop a concrete action plan to make Bhopal clean, green, and pollution-free, with special involvement from the women members.
On this occasion, various talents were honored by Trust Secretary Manoj RM, President Manoj Mannu, Sunil Publishers, Manish RM, Vipin MPT, and Deepak Deepraj.
