Bhopal: Cooperative Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang directed to establish a special “CPPP Wing” for effective implementation and systematic monitoring of MoUs signed in the Investors Summit under the CPPP model in the state. This CPPP wing will act as a single window system for private investors, cooperative societies and farmers. Through this, all the processes will be made simple, transparent and effective.

Minister Sarang reviewed the progress of the Co-operative Public Private Partnership (CPPP) model with senior officials of the Cooperative Department in the Ministry on Tuesday in compliance with the instructions of Union Home and Cooperative Minister Amit Shah. He has directed that a separate office be set up for this wing and through this, continuous monitoring of the progress of the MoU should be ensured.

In the meeting, detailed discussions were held on strategies for the successful and ground implementation of the CPPP model and to encourage private investment in the cooperative sector. Managing Director Marketing Federation Mr. Alok Kumar Singh, Commissioner Cooperatives and Registrar Manoj Pushp and other senior officials were present in the meeting.

CPPP Wing will work as single window platform

Minister Sarang said that the “CPPP Wing” will work as a single window platform to solve the problems of farmers, cooperative societies and private investors. This platform will provide an integrated system for necessary permissions, procedures and guidance related to investment. Under this, the process of MoU between cooperative banks, societies, farmers and private entrepreneurs will be made accessible and transparent.

Performance based grading

Minister Sarang directed that grading of all the cooperative societies of the state should be done on the basis of performance. This grading will be done on the basis of the financial status of the committees, transparency of management, quality of services, dividend distribution and facilities being provided to farmers and members. He said that through this grading system, the functioning of the committees, transparency, financial discipline, member satisfaction and innovation capabilities can be evaluated.
