The Madhya Pradesh Sindhu Sena on Monday cut a 69 feet-long cake at Bhopal’s Gufa Mandir on the eve of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 69th birthday.Bhopal mayor Alok Sharma and former city MLA Surendra Nath Singh were part of the cake cutting ceremony to do the honours. Prime Minister Narendra Modi turned 69 on Tuesday. We cut a 69 feet-long cake to wish him a very Happy Birthday and pray to god for his health and long life so that he can serve the country, said Madhya Pradesh Hindu Sena president Rakesh Kukreja.
Activists of the Hindu outfit wore Modi masks and also organised a blood donation camp in which 51 volunteers donated blood.The volunteers also got Prime Minister Modi’s sketch tattooed on their arms and thanked him for revoking Article 370 of the Indian Constitution, that granted special status to Jammu and Kashmir.
By scrapping Article 370, PM Modi has done what no other prime minister could dare to do in the past. We wrote a thank you message for him along with his sketch, which we will send to him by post, Kukreja further said. The event was a part of the week-long celebration that the organisation has planned to observe PM Modi’s birthday.
On the occasion BJP district President Vikas Virani, ex-MLA Surendranath Singh, Councilor Manoj Rathore, Mahesh Makwana, Mandal President Vikas Soni, Hariom Aasre, Vinod Chourasiya, Sumit Ahuja, Anil Tharwani, Anand Sabdhani, Darshan Kukreja and many others were present.
