Simhastha will make Ujjain a global religious tourism destination

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Simhastha Mahakumbh is a wonderful social gathering, it decides the direction of the society. Earlier people used to go to the Kumbh fair with the direction decided and worked for change in the society. Traditions have changed with time, but we have to understand the importance of our roots and values. Preparations for Simhastha to be held in the religious city of Ujjain in the year 2028 have already started. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also believes that Kumbh is not only a fair, but a wonderful example of excellent management that teaches and gives the message of innovation of traditions to the world. The world should adopt it as a case study.

The state government is engaged in preparations for Simhastha Mahakumbh-2028, in which development and infrastructure works have been started. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has resolved that in Simhastha-2028, devotees should be allowed to bathe in the pure water of Kshipra river and by ensuring the flow of clean and pure water in the Kshipra river forever, it should be made Punya-Salila and Sadaneera in the true sense, as well as ecological balance should also be maintained.

To fulfill the resolution, Sevarkhedi-Silarkhedi, Kanh Close Duct and Hariyakhedi projects have been started in Ujjain and 18 barrages and stop dams are being built. This will ensure clean water flow in the Kshipra river throughout the year, as well as pure and adequate drinking water will also be available to Ujjain. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also wants to establish Ujjain as a major global religious tourist destination by successfully organizing the Simhastha Kumbh.
