Bhopal: In a meeting held at the President’s office located in Hotel Shikha, Azad Market, the Shri Hindu Utsav Samiti unanimously approved the income-expenditure and audit report for the period from February 5, 2023, to March 31, 2025. The report was presented by the committee treasurer, Kailash Sahu.
During the meeting, the committee made an important decision regarding the upcoming biennial elections for the 2025–2027 term. Renowned city advocate Shri P.C. Kothari was appointed as the Chief Election Officer by Samiti President Santosh Sahu Lakhpati and General Secretary Sharan Khatik. The appointment was welcomed and supported by prominent social worker Pramod Nema and senior members Ishdayal Sharma, Arun Agarwal, Bhagwan Das Dhalia, Devendra Singh Bana, Dilip Gupta, Vinod Sahu, and Ghanshyam Das Gupta.
The announcement was met with enthusiastic applause and appreciation from the members and officials present, reflecting unity and satisfaction within the committee.
