Bhopal: Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today said that the government is committed to the welfare of farmers.
He planted a mango sapling in Ratanpur village of the district today under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign. In this program, Jharkhand in-charge and Union Minister Chouhan, while talking to the media, claimed that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government will be formed in Jharkhand with full majority. He said that the government’s commitment towards farmers is evident from the fact that the first decision taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is to put Kisan Samman Nidhi in the accounts of farmers.
