Bhopal: In a significant operation, the Shahjahanabad Police have taken a major step against liquor smugglers. The police seized 28 cartons (252 liters) of illegal alcohol from the residence of accused Bharat Kapil, located at Bajpai Nagar Multi. The estimated value of the seized alcohol is ?98,000.
The operation was carried out by the dedicated team of officers from Shahjahanabad Police Station, and their success has created a wave of concern among local liquor traffickers. Legal proceedings against the accused are currently underway.
Under the leadership of Shahjahanabad Police Station In-charge Umesh Pal Singh, key members of the team included Sub-Inspector Suraj Atulkar, Head Constable Ashish Singh, Head Constable Lakshmi, Constable Chandan Pandey, Constable Sudeep, and Constable Pushpendra. Their commendable efforts have been instrumental in the success of this operation.
